India’s greatest superstar of all time remains the “Big B.”
For those who never heard of Bollywood (is that possible?), Amitabh Bachchan, is the ‘angry young man’ who took Hindi films by storm in the 1970s and 80s. Who made “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?) the ONLY show you heard blaring from every single home, with streets deserted so all and sundry could be glued to the TV set. Who remains film royalty even in his 70s.

Other Sunday Snaps:
Quite a coincidence that today I am writing on Big B for one of my clients. So which movie of his is your favorite?
Well.. I should say a truly terrible film ‘Ek Ajnabee’ out of loyalty for my partner who played the Thai villain opposite Big B. He was quite amusing in Piku, 1st saw him in Sholay. Would I be tarred and featured if I admit I’m not a fan and don’t have a favourite??
I completely understand that every person has a different opinion and taste. It does not bother me that you’re not his fan. In fact, I appreciate your honesty, a trait so rare to find these days.
And good luck with your piece on the Big B!
Thanks 🙂
He looks cheesy as hell but I guess it IS Bollywood! 🙂
This is from his younger wonder years! He’s in his 70s now. 😉
Silver Fox 😉
Though he still sports wigs which eschew silver… less so now than earlier. 😉
