Swinging BACK into Singapore!!

I’m doing a very happy dance right now as I’m about to hop on plane to Singapore!

I’ve shared before… over the years Singapore has become my ‘alternate’ home… It is where I based my international company, it is where I go periodically to drum up potential business, it is also my home away from my home away!

I know this trip will be chock of meetings, merriment and more. I’ve packed a lot into each day… literally from the moment I land til the moment I leave! But I’m just too greedy to finally be back!

How can I not squeeze in a Christmas tree and lighting celebration at friends? A veggie feast at a hipster joint? Some jazz? A little whisky? And mixing up some work related meetings with catching up with some favourite ex-colleagues?

So will you hear from me in the next week? Likely not!

I will simply be too busy swinging around Singapore.

Have fun! Can’t wait to read all about it.

  7. Yee haw! Will you have a watermelon drink and admire some orchids for me?

    • Hehe! I just had freshly made carrot and celery juice made by my friend… does that count?? As for the orchids, don’t think will make it to the botanical gardens this trip… that’s where I last saw ones that were beyond amazing!

      • Yup, your drink can count. 😀 What does celery juice taste like though? I’m ambivalent. If the celery is good, than I love it, but I’ve had super sour or bitter celery too often that I buy it only once a year or so now. Hmmm… I wonder what it would taste like fresh out of the garden??
And yes, those orchids were stamped in my memory. I’ve been to Singapore only once on a stopover and the orchid garden was a highlight.

        • It isn’t bad. Funny thing is my Singapore host is now with us in Mumbai along with her daughter… and I’m a terrible host. Here is your cappuccino, there is the granola, yoghurt, fruit and bread…. now help yourself!

          • Ha ha! I guess it depends if you’re okay making yourself at home or needing to be pampered. 😀 I feel weird being completely catered to and I’ll pull things together to a point with guests… depending on who they are. With some, I’ll make everything down to the last bit and then clean up, too and with others, it’s “here’s the cereal box!”

            • What works with this gal pal and I is we are rather independent and yet appreciate rare pampering. What she loves most about being at our place is a hot frothy cappuccino just finds its way to her while she is still surfacing. As for food? Here’s the cereal box and you know the guys to order from for your dosa and other cravings… It works!

            • This sound perfect! My sis and I got some rare pampering (great quote!) tonight at a local Aveda school. It was amazing, fun and all free! They had 15 minute mini appointments… party hair, hand massage and/or makeup plus snacks and champagne. I’m so glad my sister roped me into it even though my little one had a few tears when I finally said goodbye. (tears my heart every time!) But to have my hair done and gab with my sis for an hour was a great mini break.

            • What fun on the pampering with your sis!
